Under this scheme, the Maharashtra Government will provide financial assistance to economically weaker families of the state on the birth of girl infants after 01 April 2023. Through the Lek Ladki scheme, the government will provide monetary help of Rs one lakh one thousand (Rs 101000) for the development and brighter future of the baby girl.

Maharashtra Lek Ladki Scheme Application Form
Lek Ladki Yojana is a government scheme of Maharashtra. The state government has announced the financial scheme on the new budget 2024-25. The main objective to start the Maharashtra Lek Ladki program is to provide economical support to the poor families on the birth of girl child. In this scheme the state government will send the scheme amount in different five installments at different stage of the girl.
The government will provide first installment of Rs 5000 at the time of birth of the girl infant. The next installment will be paid of Rs 4000 on the admission in First class. The Third installment of Rs 6000 will be credited when she passed 6th standard. The Fourth installment of Rs 8 thousand will be paid when she qualify the metric exam and the last and fifth installment of Rs 75 thousand will be given at the time of marriage when she reached age 18 years. In this way the government will provide the benefits of Rs 1.1 lakh for the overall development and empowerment of girl child.

To remove such type of cheap thinking from the peoples mind and promote gender discrimination the Maharashtra government has started Lek Ladki Yojana 2024. Citizens have to submit the girl child birth documents with one month after the date of birth. After submitting the application form on the scheme website the government will first verify the documents and then credit the amount directly to the beneficiaries parents bank account.
